YOU ARE

A hands-on accountant who’s seen complexity and knows how to handle it. With 6+ years of experience across multi-entity structures, you’ve consolidated books, navigated IFRS, and made sense of cross-border flows. You know what to look for in transfer pricing, audits don’t scare you, and you’ve been through an ERP rollout or two. You’re ready to own Latvia’s accounting from end to end - and contribute to how we scale finance globally.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Group Consolidation & Technical Accounting

• Support consolidation across entities in Singapore, Switzerland, BVI, and more
• Ensure proper treatment of intercompany loans, asset transfers, and dividends
• Advise on transfer pricing and accounting implications of international structure changes
• Prepare for audits and shifts in consolidation logic as group structure evolves

Local Ownership

• Take full responsibility for the Latvian entity accounting - GL, month-end, reporting, and local tax compliance
• Transition accounting from external providers to fully in-house

Systems & Process Implementation

• Lead accounting-side implementation of a new ERP
• Set up proper workflows for assets, PP&E, and expense tracking
• Leverage an already-developed chart of accounts and reporting structure to accelerate migration

Strategic Finance Support

• Work directly with senior leadership on accounting strategy, compliance, and entity-level decisions
• Identify risks, optimize processes, and help design scalable systems for a growing multinational structure
• Work closely with finance and cross-functional teams to solve problems, share knowledge, and improve how we do things across the business

WHAT WE EXPECT

• 6+ years of accounting experience, with several years in a multinational group setup (ideally with exposure to jurisdictions outside the EU)
• Track record of working with transfer pricing and consolidation
• Solid hands-on knowledge of IFRS standards
• Experience with intercompany accounting, multi-currency flows, and cross-border transactions
• Led or contributed to ERP implementations
• Solid working relationship with Latvian tax authorities (VID)
• Fluent in Latvian and English
• Advanced Excel skills
• Practical, solution-oriented mindset
  
• Experience across multiple economic zones (e.g. Europe + Asia / Americas)
