WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Global Financial Transactions: Manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries for a truly international operation. You’ll oversee invoicing, payment tracking, and ensure everything runs smoothly across different regions.
• Payroll Management: Handle monthly salary payouts and ensure that payroll requirements are met on time, considering  international regulations.
• Collaboration: Work with external accountants and internal teams (finance, IT, etc.) across multiple countries on fixed assets, vacations, business trips, and other operational expenses, ensuring compliance with various regional requirements.
• ERP System Implementation: Play a critical role in implementing our new ERP system, customizing it to fit our crypto-specific needs across different jurisdictions, and ensuring a seamless transition from our legacy system.
• Compliance & Reporting: Stay on top of changing cryptocurrency regulations and accounting standards like IFRS and GAAP globally. Work with tax advisors and authorities from multiple countries to ensure full compliance with international tax laws and crypto-specific guidelines.

WHAT WE EXPECT

Must-have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA are a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in a general accounting role, including bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and maintain financial models and pivot tables.

Nice-to-have:

• Previous experience in finance, crypto, or tech sectors is preferred.
• Experience with ERP system implementations.
• Understanding of cryptocurrency accounting and the ability to build financial processes (e.g., chart of accounts) from scratch.
• Familiarity with international tax compliance, especially related to cryptocurrencies and cross-border financial operations.

Soft skills:

• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with teams across multiple regions—IT, trading, operations, and legal.
• Adaptability and initiative in a fast-changing global environment.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, countries, and deadlines.
